He was the only one born with a mutant form (yellow, a pouch, and bangs) in the Mubok tribe's duck family. Consequently, he faced discrimination immediately after birth and was soon banished from the family. After being expelled, he wandered from place to place, trying to fit in with various groups to confirm his identity. However, flocks of birds were quick to ignore or ostracize him, and other groups treated him strangely, or at best, offered only pity. While wandering aimlessly, he experienced much frustration, but he resolved to live with a more positive mindset during such times and became a duck who always maintained a bright demeanor. After maintaining that bright attitude and living a solitary wandering life, he coincidentally meets a rabbit named 'Cocoa' who is in a similar situation of wandering.

Cocoa was born as the youngest and most cherished member of a family of one-eared rabbits. In her early childhood, not long after birth, she was an affectionate, bright, and emotionally honest friend. However, after leaving her family's embrace to live in the rabbit world, she faced numerous instances of discrimination and neglect from other rabbits due to her one-eared features and heart-shaped belly. As a result, Cocoa gradually closed her heart and adopted a realistic worldview. She eventually escaped the rabbit society that discriminated against and ignored her, becoming a solitary wanderer. Cocoa, who had been wandering alone without opening her heart to any other creatures, happened to meet a duck named Jjideok, who was in a similar situation of being a stray. However, Cocoa was initially reluctant to meet Jjideok, finding him frustrating and incomprehensible because he seemed so opposite to her and resembled her naive childhood personality. Yet, seeing Jjideok cling to her and show affection despite her pushing him away, she gradually came to accept Jjideok for who he was and respect his values ​​as well. And so, the two became lifelong childhood friends.
