'Haenyeo Sophie' is a character created by the author after falling in love with the Jeju Haenyeo after reading their stories.

Haenyeo Sophie is a beginner haenyeo.

They have a bright personality, are very positive, and have a ooooong imagination.

I also quite seriously imagine that I was a mermaid in a past life.

Every day is happy because of the enchanting scenery underwater, but

The ever-increasing marine debris is a big concern for Sophie as well.

So, I also take time out of my busy schedule to pick up trash.
