We are Jjo & Jjo!

The story of their chaotic friendship, continuing today despite their different appearances.

We are currently using 'Jjoshongi,' an innocent Bichon who is cared for and walked with utmost devotion every day, and 'Jjonyangi,' a sassy tabby cat from the streets whom Jjoshongi meets daily on their walks, as our main characters. The reason I started creating these characters is that I wanted to turn the story of my own pet dog into a character. As I explained earlier, 'Jjoshongi' is a character drawn to make my actual dog as round and cute as possible, while 'Jjonyangi' is a drawing of the yellow cat the dog meets on walks, rendered with a bit more personality and uniqueness. Initially, they were wary of each other, perhaps realizing they looked different, but after encountering each other frequently, they no longer show wariness even when making eye contact from quite close range. The main storyboard for Jjo & Jjo captures the friendship between these two characters against this backdrop.
