Character Description

Tsuru is a character modeled after a hedgehog. While a hedgehog's spines are created to protect itself, they can also cause discomfort in relationships with others. Rather than trying to get rid of these spines, Tsuru learns how to live together and finds harmony in its own way. This symbolizes the anxiety and defensiveness of modern people, while ultimately conveying a warm message of understanding and coexisting with one another.

Visually, warm colors were used to contrast with the hedgehog's sharp spines, expressing softness and warmth even amidst the sharpness. Furthermore, inspired by Korean folk art and auspicious imagery, the character was designed not merely as a cute figure, but as a symbolic presence that offers small comforts and hope in life. This character embodies the modern individual who accepts their own imperfections and finds meaning and warmth within them.
