🧸 'Orumi', a teddy bear character who loves Jeju's nature and travels in search of happiness


It embodies the three colors symbolizing Jeju: tangerine (joy), ocean (healing), and oreum (growth), and conveys warm happiness to those it meets through the three-leaf clover always kept in its front pocket. Orumi symbolizes the tourists themselves who have traveled to Jeju in search of happiness. Instead of directly characterizing local specialties like black pigs or Hallabong oranges, it was designed to project one's daily self onto a universal teddy bear form that everyone can relate to, imbuing it with emotions and stories. Thanks to this, Orumi possesses the flexibility to naturally blend with Jeju's tourist attractions, nature, and seasonal stories, seamlessly integrating into various content.


With a bright, positive, and warm personality, Orumi travels with the hope of discovering joy and happiness in small moments rather than seeking extraordinary luck. Orumi climbs Jeju's oreums, explores the island's nature, tourist attractions, and hot spots, and continues a journey to introduce Jeju through its diverse aspects and share happiness with people.
It embodies the message of ‘Bliss’ that Bliss & aims to convey, and is not just a simple mascotA storytelling character conveying the sensibility and healing of JejuI intend to expand to.

오르미는 ‘행복을 찾아 떠나는 제주 여행자’라는 스토리와 귀여운 비주얼을 바탕으로, 다양한 굿즈 및 체험형 콘텐츠로 확장할 수 있는 높은 활용도를 지니고 있습니다.

1. Lightweight travel souvenir goods
Keyrings, hand mirrors, magnets, and other small merchandise that Jeju tourists can purchase without 부담 (burden) can be produced as seasonal or regional series by applying Orumi's various facial expressions and themed outfits.
It is also possible to create an illustration composition featuring Orumi with different expressions under the theme of ‘My Happiness Today’.

2. Jeju Dialect Educational Card Games & Board Games
A learning card game for the Jeju dialect utilizing the Orumi character can be developed into edutainment content that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to adults.
It allows users to naturally learn the Jeju language and culture by interacting with characters, making it suitable as experiential content for schools and institutions.


3. DIY coloring kit(Plaster air fresheners, etc.)
Currently, plaster air freshener coloring kits featuring the old version of Orumi and other Jeju character designs are on sale.
If DIY plaster air freshener coloring kits are produced using the renewed Ormi character design in the future, participants will be able to naturally interact with the Ormi character throughout the experience.
This kit can be used as a relaxing hobby activity in one-day classes, experience booths, and family experience programs, and it functions as an air freshener after completion, offering high practicality and satisfaction.



4. Scalability with brand merchandise
In the future, practical goods such as postcards, pouches, mugs, and tumblers featuring stories of the Orumi character can be produced.
It can be developed into a ‘Day in Jeju’ series of products by incorporating background illustrations linked to travel destinations.
