Kearney is an alien who crash-landed on Earth, and he brings joy to viewers by seeing familiar objects on Earth in a new light and applying them. Meanwhile, he was created with the intention of making a cute character with a rich story that stimulates curiosity, as it is unknown what hidden side he might have in space, separate from his cute appearance on Earth.

Currently, the illustrations capture Kearny's reactions to Earth objects (sewing tools, desserts, culture, etc.), but I plan to gradually flesh out more three-dimensional aspects, such as her iconic look holding a kitschy alien laser gun and her exploits in space. (I am planning an omnibus-style composition filled with lightness and cuteness rather than a profound narrative flow.)
